Our founder and creator, Ms. Vilda Morales, has had a passion for business from an early age. She worked in the banking industry for over 15 years and became a small business owner with several offices in Brooklyn, New York. As a significant role model in her life, her daughter Melissa Morales followed in her mother’s footsteps, earned several degrees in accounting, and is pursuing an MBA in Accounting.

Together this mother/daughter duo became a powerhouse in their local community and created Empire City Tax, Inc. in 2018.
